* About Myself *

My name is Andy. I was born in Guyana but many people think I am from India . I am an easy-going person and a recent high school graduate who is looking forward to starting college soon. I am a very polite, quiet, respectful and a quick learner. I am by my peers because of the way I present and carry myself. I am known to be a good listener and a not so loud speaker. I like giving back to the community by offering my service in any way I possibly can. My career interests are in Computer engineering, mechanical engineering or as a special agent working for the government .I enjoy working with people who are challenging and creative and who are not scared to make their own decisions and know what they are doing. I am currently an active member of the YMCA of Flatbush. The Flatbush YMCA has given me a lot during my years there as a member and I would like to say thank you. I have recently graduated from (TSC) Technology Service Corp program which is very similar to a boot camp. It is run by the Non -Profit organization Npower NY. The program runs for three months and not only teaches you About computers but gives you professional skills. (P.S) If you are interested in technology this is a good place to start. *How I became involve in Technology*

First of all, I would like to thank all those who believed in me and gave me the chance to prove myself to be a better person. My interest in technology was inspired by my next door neighbor who inspired me and after a while became someone who I can depend on for professional, mental and technical support. A few months later after I was curious and eager to learn more about technology my friend introduced me to the YMCA and after being a member there for 1 year I was introduced to a YMCA employee who was part of the Verizon Teen Tech program which is sponsored by Verizon. He saw my interest and introduced me to the Program. The aim of the program was to upgrade the teen website and in the process I learned the basic fundamentals of HTM. It was very difficult for me because most of my peers would not turn up for class. Despite this, I still pressed on in showing my interest because I am always a determined person who is always willing and ready to learn. I must say being determined pays off at some point for me as it did as soon as I finished high school. I was referred to Npower which as I mentioned earlier is a Non -Profit organization which runs a program called TSC which is very hard to get in to but I did. I went through the training and came out successful because I had learned so much about the basic fundamentals of PC both hardware and software. After finishing, they have been helpful in finding me jobs leads and after a while I found myself doing consulting jobs which I very much enjoy but right now my main focus is Going To college to get a higher education in the Technology field. So, you see one good thing led to another and that is why I was able to create this web Page.
